Dr. Jinlong Feng
Jinlong Feng is a PhD candidate in the Law of the Sea at Xiamen University, with an expected graduation in June 2026. He holds a Master’s degree in Public International Law from Wuhan University. His research interests span public international law and the international law of the sea, with particular focus on maritime law enforcement, marine environmental protection, and marine biodiversity conservation. His current research centres on key issues under the BBNJ Agreement, including the application of the ecosystem approach and the legal implementation of digital sequence information (DSI) on marine genetic resources under the Agreement. He has published nearly 10 academic papers in journals including International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics and various Chinese journals.
