Dr. Pei Liu

Pei Liu is an Associate Professor at the Business School, Shandong University, China. He earned his Ph.D. from Beijing Jiao Tong University in 2017, followed by postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University from 2017 to 2019. In 2026, he visited the Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management, University of Liverpool as an honorary visiting scholar. He received multiple research grants, including National Social Science Foundation of China, Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of the Ministry of Education of China, Subproject of National Key R&D Program of China, Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. His research interests include maritime sustainability, port-hinterland transport, green transport, and financing mechanisms. He published multiple research paper in journals such as Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Energy, Applied Energy, Energy Policy, and Computers & Industrial Engineering.
